I have always treasured and respected Cathy's ability to portray curriculum accurately, completely, and from a distinctly Christian viewpoint. Her Christian Home Educator's Curriulum Manuals have been used since the mid 1980's to help thousands of homeschoolers, including me, find just the 'right' books for each of my children. I was so disappointed when I learned that she would no longer be publishing them. Then she surprised me! This new book is the condensed version of her curriculum manuals. It is excellent. It contains, as the title states, her favorites! I do prefer the older Christian Home Educator's Curriulum Manuals since they cover more titles and they go into greater depth (they are still available through us) but this book is great in that it takes less time to decide what to use and it can be less intimidating to new homeschoolers.Homeschoolers' Comments
