This absolutely EXCELLENT, FANTASTIC little Bible book is back in print. I used it with my children. Each short story has a picture and three comprehension questions that help the child contemplate important truths. I can't recommend this one enough. Personal note: A funny memory I have of my youngest son Danny has to do with a story in this book. He was 4 years old at the time. He asked for a bowl of ice cream and I told him "No". Earlier that day we had read a story about a man who had worshipped an idol and there was a picture of a man bowing before an idol. My 4-year-old son then announced that if he couldn't have a bowl of ice cream he would "worship an idol." Oh my! I explained to him that he wasn't going to get a bowl of ice cream. I then reminded him about the consequences of idolatry. His eyes got big and he said, "I won't worship an idol", and he went off to play. Wise choice son! We still laugh about that incident and I am thankful to say that our merciful God has so worked in Danny, now age 28, that he passionately loves the Lord and serves Him daily (read his analysis of 'Mysteries of Creation' in our Creation Science section and 'The Holman Bible Atlas' and 'Seven Festivals of the Messiah' in this Bible section).
