" I just wanted to comment about To Train Up a Child by Michael & Debi Pearl. The Pearls are not Amish parents. They are Christian parents who live in an Amish community. Mr. Pearl preaches the Grace of God, not works, equals salvation.
This book has changed our family. We first ordered it six years ago, when our fourth child was born. Mr. Pearl has such an understanding for the nature of a child, and helps parents understand their children's natures also. This book has helped us to achieve our goals. Godly attitudes, happy, well-trained children, and a peaceful, orderly atmosphere in the home. We still reread this book even after the birth of our sixth child. We even buy copies to give away, as many ask how we trained our children!"
