"This story needs to be included in American History again! Washington recognized God's hand of protection and was able to "fearlessly" do his duty again and again. My favorite part of the book is when the old Indian chief who had fought against him in the French and Indian War came to pay tribute to Washington. He said that during the battle, he finally told his warriors to quit trying to fire at Washington because it was impossible to kill him." - AC
"I was flabbergasted to have gone through 40+ years of life without hearing these stories of George Washington. We read this as a family as part of establishing Godly character in our children, of course, the history lessons were an added bonus. A must read for every American. It will increase your faith in God's providence and grace -- even the Indian's knew this man was protected by the "Almighty One". How sad for our country to have these stories taken out of the history books."
