These courses are the BEST children’s inductive courses I have seen for learning God’s Word. They are endorsed by Kay Arthur. Students learn to think about what God is saying, interpret it in context and apply it to their lives. These studies proceed through the Bible "precept upon precept, line upon line". Students are encouraged to glean insight from God’s Word itself, thereby drawing them closer to their God as He reveals himself to them in His Word. Students will develop a richer appreciation for and a deeper, more meaningful understanding of God’s Word. I believe these studies will have a great spiritual impact on the children using them. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
And now they're very cost effective! Each student workbook used to cost $15.00 and the teacher guide was $5.00. If you had more than one student, it could get expensive. Now you can use the CD to make as many copies of the workbook as you need for your students - and the teacher's guide is included!

The Know & Grow series studies are 10-15 weeks of study, 5 days a week, 15-20 minutes each day. Each study seeks to equip the student with a tool kit of study skills, introducing one tool of study each week. The study tools are introduced one at a time enabling students to understand how each tool is useful to gather facts from the text of Scripture, and then an opportunity is given to do just that! Cross-references and sections of Scripture are studied to see truths in context. On the last day of each week, personal application of the truths learned is the focus. Through the course of study Scripture is studied firsthand, tools are learned for future study, and a habit of study is developed to come to the Word first, see what it says in context, and specifically respond to God. This is how our personal relationship with God grows, as He speaks to us, we listen, and we respond to Him.
The Know & Grow studies are written at basic elementary reading levels, and have been used since 1995 by children, youth and adults. God’s Word speaks to us at any age, if we have hearts and minds to listen!
Each Know & Grow study also includes a teaching guide with additional Scripture cross references, explanations of the tools, and a discussion guide to review each week of study. The purchaser may make copies of the study as needed for use in their family.

Know and Grow - 2 Timothy: Guard the Gospel (15 weeks)
This letter of encouragement to know, guard, and live out the gospel is practical and easy to grasp with the clear examples that Paul provides about the soldier, athlete, and farmer. This study introduces the student a step at a time to tools that help in gathering the facts, comprehending the facts, and applying the truths discovered. Symbols, illustrations, and activity help to stimulate interest while important facts are being retained. The full text of 2 Timothy is included for the students' use as the study progresses.
