It instructs students in a wide variety of fundamental skills - writing mechanics, the writing process, the classroom report, the book review, the short story, the poem, the letter, grammar, thinking and study skills, vocabulary and spelling skills, library skills, speech skills and much more! It is far more user friendly and I feel the explanations in the original book are more easily understood.
