This is my hands-down favorite! The VERY BEST book for teaching young children about human anatomy! Each child makes a full-size tracing of his or her self and puts it on a wall. You make copies (the book is reproducible) of every page in the book (each page has a body part drawn on it for the child to color in) and your child cuts them out, colors them in and places them on his `body.' (There is a `body legend' in the book to show where the parts go.) Each body part has a brief text describing its function. When your child is finished, he can see his `body' with all its inner parts! |
