This second grade language arts course/workbook could, in my opinion, also work well for a third grade student. Many of the lessons are challenging so unless your second grader finds language arts fairly easy, I would use this for third grade. It covers everything your child will need to know in these grades including writing sentences, paragraphs, stories, descriptions, letters, book reports; parts of speech including nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, adverbs; and other skills including speaking and listening, ABC order, using the dictionary, vocabulary building, contractions, journaling, newspaper skills, oral reports, and MUCH more.
Although this is a complete course, at this price, this would also be an excellent resource for enrichment of the program you are using. If your child needs some additional practice, find it in this book and do those lessons! |
